H. H. Marthoma Mathews II Training College was established in the year 2005 and is run by the Malankara Orthodox Church, Adoor - Kadampanad dioceses. The college owes its existence to the farsighted vision of Late His Holiness Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Mathews II, Catholics of the East and Malankara Metropolitan. His Holiness was the Spiritual Supremo of Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church and the founder Manager of this prestigious College of Teacher Education.

The College as it is expected to be is a Vibrant Social Institution where the course of life is chartered for every trainee who gets prepared to teach school children with confidence.
